Summer School on Probabilistic Graphical Models: From Biological Networks to Image Analysis

Scope
Topics covered include models and numerical methods for
1) imaging and probabilistic graphical models
2) medical imaging
3) molecular and X-ray imaging
4) the relationship between network, structure and function
5) radiation induced structural changes in cells
Target Audience
These courses are intended for faculty, graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, professionals and others who would like to gain an understanding of the modeling and numerical methods for complex biological systems.
The summer school offers two intensive week-long courses. The courses consist of lectures, discussions, and supervised group projects, tutorials, as well as practical exercise sessions. A further feature is that there will be two workshops with talks and poster sessions. Students participating in the workshop are encouraged to submit contributions.
